My Complaint in below flow for everyone to learn form

ISSUE :

Noticed Fuel/Petrol leaking when the car was parked while engine was On.

Not sure if its leaking while driving also.

But strong petrol smell in cabin, even while driving.

Immediately drove car directly to Hyundai service center - Jalan Genting Klang.

07 APR - Thu

-------------------

* Attended by Samuel and another guy (not sure his name; chinese,small build)

* both were helpful and found the problem after checking.

* identified fuel leaking from fuel line which connected to fuel tank (inside the car, under the back seat)

* Agreed to leave car at center as Not safe to drive & park at common area.

* however informed part not avail at local service centers & warehouse, will take direct from Hyundai KOREA.

* Informed usual mail will take 2weeks, but fast mail can be within 1week.

* Agreed to replace the part.

Somewhere the following week

-------------------

* Communicated with Samuel (Sam),

* Sam informed parts arrived but the warehouse is Closed for 1week due to Cleaning/Maintenance

22 APR - Fri

-------------------

* Communicated with Samuel (Sam) to inform once received parts from warehouse, would like to see it before anything replaced

* Sam informed that Chief'Tech advise can repair instead of part replaced

* Why only inform now after waiting 2weeks.?

* Sam informed that Chief'Tech had been away and just returned today.

* Since already waited so long and already ordered the parts, request to just replace it. Feel safer that way since involving Petrol leak.

* Sam informed will collect the parts from warehouse this Saturday.

03 MAY - Tue

* Received call from Vimal, Hyundai informing will be following up with us on this matter from now On.

* Vimal inform the part receive from KOREA does not fit

* Why can such thing happen.?

* Claims that there are 2~3 different variant of ATOS, so this part does not match.

* However will look and try to source for the part from various Hyundai centers.

09 MAY - Mon

* Received call from Vimal, Hyundai informing that had checked all sources and No parts avail

* They already tried their best, so we can take back the car as its parked there for so long and they need the parking space

* so i waited so long and HYUNDAI can fix the issue.?

* request to speak/meet the Chief'Tech as would consider to repair the fuel issue, but want to discuss with him first since he seem to be the only person Technically knowledgeble.

* Vimal claim he cant inform us the Chief'Tech name.

* Vimal also claim that we cant speak or even come over to meet the Chief'Tech

* Then Vimal mentioned that the Chief"Tech is on Medical leave and no idea when will be back, may take 1month

* Told Vimal that will wait till their Chief'Tech returns and to contact us and inform.

Somewhere the following week

-------------------

* Received call from Vimal Hyundai, mentioned problem is solved now, no more leaking.

* Told Vimal, that already clearly mention Not to replace any parts or repair without informing us first.

* Vimal mentioned no parts replaced, they just tested again and there is no problem now.

* Vimal keep insisting to take back the car as its parked there for so long and they need the parking space and there is no problem now.

* Told Vimal clearly that will NOT take the car till the Chief'Tech returns and fix the problem, i Dont care about Hyundai PARKING SPACE.

Somewhere the following day/s

* Lodged complain to Hyundai customer service

* Still got the same answer - the car is okay now, can take it back first and return it back once the staff comes back from Leave.

HYUNDAI expect customer to drive cars with leaking fuel line. Hyundai DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SAFETY.

Best thing is, problem solved itself without anything done, Is this Transformers, how can the car FIX IT-SELF...!!!

Entire Hyundai DOES NOT HAVE SPARE PARTS.???

24 MAY - Tue

-------------------

* Received call from Vimal Hyundai, inform Chief'Tech is already back.

* This problem can be solved by replacing some "fuel line clip"

* The Chief'Tech has this part and willing to give it to us to solve the problem

Reason of review: The Genting Klang Centre.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
