Cheating service centre
Very bad service advisor who took advantage when servicing my Ioniq. Without agreement, he loaded all sorts of items in my regular servicing for 30k mileage.
Even he charged me for anti freeze coolant treatment for local Malaysia climate and overhaul my aircon despite it was just been serviced in the last round.
Billing say its for 90k mileage. Hyundai Ara Damansara is a fraud company.

Disappointed consultation on repair works
I ve been sending my starex ever since to glenmarie and now ara damansara. The car was examined and analysed need to replace abs pump and was stranded almost 3 weeks.
After 3 weeks received a call that another faulty of brake sensor was found.
Thr disappointment is that explaination in details of faulty by the supervisor was never done, what was conveyed 'the car is ready for collection'. The repaired cost 4 digits on the high side and very frustrated.

Hyundai customer care line. I personally think that is very unprofessional and completely fails to take care of the needs of consumers.
In the first accident, the same problem occurred after waiting for almost a month and four months after replacing the parts. They waited for their decision and parts.
The reason they said was that there was a problem with the previous part. I waited for more than a month and still did not solve it.

The concern is that I am from India and I am already working in the Automobile Company past 3 years in CRM position, and have been applying for International Opportunities in the same field considering my Training and Experience gained in the Automobile Industry , to a great disappointment I somehow received a Job Offer from HYUNDAI AUTOMOBILE COMPANY, KUALA LUMPUR for Applying and clearing the Online Interview and I as per their offering have cracked the Interview and this particular mentioned company offered me the POSITION -CRM FOR THE HYUNDAI AUTOMOBILE COMPANY, KUALA LUMPUR ON WORK PERMIT ON 10500 MYR, ALSO THE I HAVE THE CONTRACT LETTER AND OFFER LETTER MENTIONING YOUR EMAIL ID AND CONTACT NUMBER OF NAMED MOHAMMAD SALIM-HR.
I have not got any option to send the attachments otherwise I could have sent the same over here, is working in the automobile industry past 3 years and have gained administration training and development in the field, this was a great opportunity for me to develop my skills on the global border as well, but to a DISSATISFACTION, THIS WAS A COMPLETE FRAUD UPON CONFIRMED FROM THE EMBASSY, THIS KIND OF FORGERY ACT SIMPLY NOT ONLY BUILDS DISTRUST AS WELL NOT EVEN AN ENTHUSIASM TO WORK FOR SUCH A BRAND WHERE THIS ACT IS NOMINAL.
I HAVE COMPLAINED AGAINST THE SAME OVER THE PHONE TO THE HYUNDAI MALAYSIA HQ AND DEALER END TO MS. NOOR NAJIAH AND THEY SAID NO SUCH JOB OFFERED AND NO PERSON NAMED MOHAMED SALIM EXIST, AND I WILL MAKE SURE THIS INCIDENT COMES INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF MY COUNTRY AS WELL AS THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE FACING THE SAME INCIDENTS AND LOSING THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY AS WELL THEIR TIME AND EFFORT.
I REQUEST YOUR COMPANY TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THE PERSON AS I AM READY TO GIVE HIS CONTACT DETAILS WITH PROOF AND I REQUEST NOT TO PROVOKE SUCH ACTIONS HAPPENINGS AROUND SELF AND ALSO A REMEDIAL ACTION AGAINST THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED TO ME.

I bought a Sonata YF 2013 Facelift car. Engine No G4NACA176629 &;;;;;;;;;;;;; KMHEC41AMDA516153.
Since the first day of receiving the car, various problems have arised one by one until now after 6 years. The problems are as follows: i. 15 Jan 2014 - The first day the car came out of the store directly Pull car tires to left. One-sided dining tire.
After the Stabilizer link set was changed 2 times but still not ok. Service at Tian Siang Hyundai SC, Sitiawan Perak. ii. 2015 - Transmission Problem.
Stark / locked 3rd gear. Gears cannot go up / down. Problem detected and ECU changed. Servis di Tian Siang Hyundai SC, Sitiawan Perak.
iii. 2017 - Transmission Problem. Stark / locked 3 rd gear. Gears cannot go up / down.
Problem detected and changed Valve body set include Solenoid and Harness. Glenmarie Hyundai SC, S Alam Selangor iii. Sep 2019 - Transmission Problem. Stark / locked 4rd gear.
Gears cannot go up / down. Send to Sime Darby Hyundai Ipoh DTC P0768 transmission problem. The problem could not be traced. The car is stuck for a month.
Check wiring connection and change oil transmission. Car Intermitten Lock Gear 4th. iv. Oct 2019 - Transmission Problem.

The car is stuck for a month. Check wiring connection and change oil transmission. Until now, the problem can not be detected and the SC is still left. Here I am very disappointed with the quality of Hyundai Sonata cars that are always advertised as world class cars.
Recurring problems with service and repair power are very unsatisfactory to me as a consumer. Me feel cheated by the quality of this vehicle and the huge losses resulting from this problem.
With this, I request the hyundai to make a review on my car and please resolve what the real problem is and why I must bear all this on the failure of the Hyundai to produce a quality car.
This car is serviced according to the schedule at SC. Thank you.

Sent my Elantra for repair after an accident at their Ipoh Service Centre Jalan Lahat. They had to open and check my Steering Column.
The stupid idiots did not fix it back properly. Took possession of my car on 27 July 2020. Their service consultant informed me that they have just brought my car back after doing the alignment balancing. Drove my car out of their centre and immediately felt my steering was pulling hard to the left.
Went back to the service centre. Their mechanic tested my car with me sitting next to him. He said he knew of the issue and that their tyre shop informed him that I have to change my front tyres. I was so damn pissed.
The scums in Hyundai knew about the left pulling of steering when I came to take my car. None of the idiots informed me and recklessly putting me in danger. But I was still calm. Took my car to my regular tyre shop.
changed my tyres and did the alignment balance. Tested drove. problem was still there. upon further inspection by my mechanic, he found out that the issue was not the tyre but if the custer, which has moved side ways.
Took my car back to the service centre and screwed the service manager. His mechanic took my car again for test drive and gone missing. I waited from 3.30pm till 7.30pm. He did not return.
He was not even answering his phone. I left the service centre without knowing the whereabouts of my car. Called the service centre on 28July. Service manager informed me that they have rectified the problem.
I question him of their substandard diagnosis of my car issue and asked them for a refund of the money i spent to change my tyres - which was unnecessary. He didn't answer but he said my car is ready for collection. I went back to the service centre on 30th July. This time, I asked for a letter from them certifying my car is safe to be driven out of their service centre.
They refuse to give. I called the HQ customer service. It is handled by 3 stupid malay ladies. They offered no help.
Midst of the argument, they said I cannot take back my car now as they have decided to send their technical team from KL to inspect my car. I was like wtf? Are they indirectly saying that their mechanics in ipoh service centre are incompetent and unreliable? I had a huge fight with the service manager.
The HQ stopped answering my calls. I left without my car. Will be going back on Monday 3rd August 2020. Anticipating a rough day at Hyundai and I am not going to be civil with them.
Some info about the 1300 number.
This is just a one line number, which means, if you hear a message saying that their cs centre is busy and your call is important and you should wait on the line, meaning call rep is talking to someone else. Just one person manning their main line. This is an MNC + GLC and they have only one person manning their main 1300 line. Sounds lame but thats the truth.
So, if you are considered a demanding customer - they will not answer your call. They let is ring, then it goes to their automated message, then it rings again and this continues. The person on their side will never answer the call for as long as you are staying on their line. Well, this means, another customer will not be able to get through their line too.
This is a service equivalent to sewage.
The problem is not Hyundai.
It is Simedarby. A GLC - a place full of substandard workers with substandard skills.

The driving experience was good but the maintenance can cause you big frowny face and swearing bad words. I had accident b4 and that idiot klang service centre took 1 month to repair external body without mechanical damage. Till few days ago my car broke down in ayeh keroh and towing to melaka service centre. what caught me suprise was they told me they dont have simple battery in stock but then diagnosis said it was main relay issue and under recalled status.
what the heck they never informed me through email, sms or call to replace it. with the experience of car accident and this case hyundai is lousy all the parts must order from south korea. if you can bear with small part faulty and wait for 2 weeks . then please buy hyundai.
if you can bear with poor hyundai after sales service in HQ glenmarie, please buy hyundai. Let me share with you guys just imagine the rear light and bumper need to order from south korea...
what can you expect ? is hyundai like mclaren , lamborgini, ferrari which are one out of a milion in car number ?

Please rethink before you buy
I bought Hyundai Tucson 3 yrs ago, luckily still under warranty. The electronic apparatus for example power window, electronic handbreak, the Sensors one by one went wrong, within a year I have visited 4 times to claim the malfunction parts. I feel very frustrated with the quality of the car.

Bad aftersale service, Unreliable car
Owned an 2016 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 Executive, First of all, the car after drive for a year or two, sometimes the car will engage lower gear for no apparent reason on straight and non-slope road even when did not depressed the pedal hard, u can hear the engine rev but the speed does not increase which will spook u, send in to service centre the technician cant find the problems.
The android headunit in the car sometimes will shut off by itself for no reason and u have to reset the whole android headunit and their setting to turn in on again. Cheap quality!
Just a few days ago, the car has been heating up lately and i can hear the radiator fans still going on even when the ignition switch off. found out the coolant went empty because the radiator hose break and the coolant are spraying hard!! Send in to service center they said have to order part because dont have stock so have to leave the car for weeks just for this.
Also the parking brake switch is faulty and its causing a nuisance just to disengage the parking brake? and also they dont have stock for it yet have to order also the price is expensive!! Hello what the *** is wrong with the quality control of this car.
There was also a time I've been in an accident. The car has been put in the workshop for Almost a year because they dont have part to the replace the broken body, headlamp etc!! and i was left almost a year without a vehicle!
Pls do not buy hyundai cars in Malaysia, the quality sucks and the aftersale service sucks *** too. High price for this *** is not worth it.

Trade in car not settle the car for me
Since i brought the elantra 1.8 premium facelift at 2017 plate number mcy 6929 September during the handover my car Nissan teana 2.5 v6 trade in to Hyundai tag jaya melaka malim jaya saleman that year is name lim yu quan the problem is he won't settle my Nissan teana 2.5 v6 after 1 year untill my teana 2.5 v6 bank lelong and my name now black listed ctos in very bank can't apply loan so i need take action by law to Hyundai to bear all my lost and my black list claimed

Workshop-lack of knowledge
My diesel car bought from Hyundai, recently the engine is very noisy and send to workshop more than 3 times to complain the same thing. technician unable to find the problem and just send it back to me.
I realized the my sterling still noisy and engine too. Technician also change my air cont button to heated. it result me unable to drive during raining and need to send to change again.
Technician told me that it is small matter and no issues with my engine. Do you think i deserve to receive this feedback when choosing to buy a car expensive price.
